About the event

Participants will explore how supervision is a relational space where stress responses naturally occur and how understand these responses can create opportunities for healing and growth. Drawing on the science of stress hormones, this training will highlight how leaders who prioritize team well-being can reduce cortisol; increase dopamine and oxytocin; and foster collaboration, resilience, and morale. Through interactive case studies, reflection exercises, and discussion, attendees will develop actionable strategies to uphold ethical supervision; promote psychological safety; and cultivate a supportive, healing environment for supervisees.  

  

This workshop is in accordance with and compliance with the NASW Standards with a focus on service, dignity and worth of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, competence and social workers’ ethical responsibilities to clients, to colleagues, in practice settings, as professionals, to the social work profession, to the broader society.
